Firewatch is a free turn-based wildfire strategy game you play in the
browser. A fire breaks out in a procedurally generated forest; each
round you place one firefighter and cut two firebreaks, then the fire
spreads one step. Wall it off before it reaches the hospital, the school
and the town — every plot you save is a point.
How to play
Shield a threatened plot with a firefighter — that plot can never burn.
Cut firebreaks on trails to block the fire's path.
Watch the wind: fire can't push hard upwind, and the forecast shows the next shift.
Beware flare-ups — embers that jump downwind along a temporary corridor — and
petrol stations, which detonate everything around them.
Contain the fire in fewer rounds for a bigger score bonus.
